Deep proteome coverage. DIA-MS is highly multiplexed and compatible with virtually any biological sample containing proteins. It is capable of confidently and reproducibly identifying up to 11,000 proteins, the most of any proteomic technique
A single-shot analysis has low sample input requirements, making it highly cost-effective and especially useful in situations where sample availability is at a premium: for example when working with biopsies or primary cell cultures in clinical research.
The extent of multiplexing is limited only by dynamic range, with up to 10⁵, DIA-MS demonstrates one of the highest dynamic ranges among single-shot methods.
Fully adaptable platform, can be synergistically enhanced with quantitative post-translational modifications (PTM) characterization; with multi-shot analysis to increase the depth; with enrichments (IP-MS, AP-MS, NP-MS) to target specific proteins; or with the spiking of custom isotopically labelled standards to increase the confidence of identifications and enable absolute quantification.
Tryptic digestion with a single enzyme is the gold standard for LC-MS proteomics, yet it lacks broad sequence coverage (on average < 5%) resulting in lower confidence of identification. We developed an automated, reproducible multi enzyme digestion approach (DIA-MED) which boosts the coverage and amplifies the confidence in your discoveries.
DIA-MS is a next-generation implementation of the gold standard in global proteome profiling. In DIA-MS a complete picture of the proteome in the original sample is collected, and no data is lost or filtered out by the mass spectrometer.
All precursor ions are selected, by cycling successively through the determined region-of-interest
Targets are clearly identifiable due to narrow isolation windows used in screening
Fragmented MS2 spectra of targets deconvoluted for optimal quantitative performance
Choose custom designed experimental libraries or comprehensive, truly unbiased in-silico analysis using ProteiQ's unique approach..
Highly convoluted, multidimensional spectra data is processed with InfineQ™, our in-house developed proprietary AI-based bioinformatics pipeline, capable of delivering high-fidelity quantitative results for thousands of samples within minutes.
A continually growing body of peer-reviewed literature firmly establishes confidence in DIA as a leading methodology in proteomic analysis. It is superior to older techniques such as DDA, which restricts data complexity at the expense of compromising reproducibility, throughput, and depth of coverage, a tradeoff now overcome by DIA. A large and innovative community is constantly working on improvements and developing new protocols, meaning that the efficiency and flexibility of DIA, along with its range of applications, will continue to grow in the future.
