We are looking for a

Business Development Representative (f/m/d)

who is driven to build an outstanding biotech venture with the help of a strong technical & entrepreneurial team, and secured funding.

Your primary responsibility is to engage potential leads and cultivate relationships in order to catalyze business development. You will process incoming request, schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients, which come both from academic and pharmaceutical environment, in order to understand their needs around proteomics and suitability of our solution.

As Business Development Manager at ProteiQ your tasks will be to:

  • Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting (Linkedin, Events)
  • Process in-bound commercial requests and conducting initial sales meetings;
  • Prepare and attend scientific conferences, engage with leads during events;
  • Work with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads;
  • Guide the prospects through the sales process until contract conclusion;
  • Maintain sales database and CRM system;
  • Provide regular reports about the developments and new market opportunities;


  • You hold a university degree in Life Sciences ideally with PhD around proteomics;
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable with striking spontaneous conversations in English;
  • Pro-active, self-driven and able to project enthusiasm about the topic of proteomics;
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable with digital solutions e.g. HubSpot / Linkedin Navigator / CRM;
  • Willing to travel;
